Graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music (where he was taught by James Barrera) and of the University of Iowa (where he was taught by Kenneth Tse). Currently studying at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music under Doug Masek, in parallel with further studies under Eugene Rousseau and Thomas Liley. Has impressed in a number of competitions, including the North American Saxophone Alliance Quartet Competition (2012) and the Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Solo Competition (2013 and 2014). Currently teaching the saxophone at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and at Gladstone High School, West Covina. Member of the North American Saxophone Alliance.
