Graduate of Sichuan Conservatory of Music (where he was taught by Yusheng Li). Further studies in the United States at Bowling Green State University under John Sampen and Ithaca College under Steven Mauk. Currently studying at the University of Iowa under Kenneth Tse. Has impressed in a number of competitions, including the Bowling Green State University Chamber Music Competition (2009) and the 20th United States Open Music Competition (2012). Performs regularly in China, the United States, Europe, and Canada.
