After studying at the local music school, was granted a Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben scholarship for further studies and went on to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (where she was taught by Arno Bornkamp). Also took part
in an Erasmus programme at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität (where she was taught by Lars Mlekusch). Has impressed in a number of competitions, both as a soloist (Yamaha Sax Contest Hamburg) and with the Ebonit Saxophone Quartet, including the Ottomani Competition (Den Bosch, 2012) and the Internationaal Kamermuziekconcours (Almere, 2012). Has taken part in master classes with Vincent David, Claude Delangle, Daniel Gauthier, Christian Lauba, Jean-Marie Londeix, and Christian Wirth.
