Graduate of Lahden Konservatorio (where he was taught by Hannu Lehtonen). Currently studying at the Sibelius Akatemia under Pekka Savijoki and Joonatan Rautiola). Has impressed at a number of competitions, including Young Soloists Lappeenranta (2008) and the Erkki Melartin Chamber Music Competition (Savonlinna, 2010). Has performed with several ensembles, including the Conscript Band of the Finnish Defence Forces and the Lappeenranta City Orchestra. Currently teaching at the Heinola and Lahti music schools. Has taken part in master classes with Vincent David, Hans de Jong, Juha Keikkonen, Olli-Pekka Tuomisalo, and Marcus Weiss.
