After studying under Masahiro Maeda, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts (where she was taught by Masataka Hirano and Kazuo Tomioka).

Winner of the Osaka International Music Competition. Took part in the 4th and 5th editions of the Adolphe Sax International Competition (Dinant, 2006 and 2010).

Has performed with several ensembles, including the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonic Winds (Osaka). Has taught at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (as assistant). Regularly gives private saxophone lessons.
