A graduate of the Royal Brussels Conservatory, Joseph Mazzucco obtained Diplômes Supérieurs in Saxophone and Chamber Music in the class given by François Daneels and a Diplôme in Saxophone Methodology. He currently teaches at the Académies de Musique in Tubize, Enghien, and Anderlecht.

He is a founder member of the Quatuor de Saxophones de Dinant and of the Ensemble de Saxophones François Daneels and is Music Director of the Ensemble Orchestral d’Enghien. Since 1996 Joseph Mazzucco has also been Professor of Saxophone and Clarinet at the International Summer Academy of Belgium. An active member of the Music Committee of the International Adolphe Sax Association, he is responsible for the Secretariat- General of the Competition for Young Saxophonists and is a member of the Arbitration Committee of the Adolphe Sax International Competition.
