Graduate of the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco Musikene (where he was taught by Eric Devallon, Tomás Jerez, and Juan Manuel Jiménez) and of the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía. Further studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Arno Bornkamp and

on an Erasmus Programme at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris under Claude Delangle and Christophe Bois. Has impressed in a number of competitions: as a soloist in the Premio Fernando Remacha Pamplona and the Concurso Internacional de Benidorm (2008); and as a chamber musician in Caja Madrid’s Chamber Music Competition (2007) and the 7th Osaka Chamber Music Competition (2011). Has taken part in several master classes.
