Graduate of Indiana University – Jacobs School of Music (where he was taught by Otis Murphy). Currently studying at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, under Chien-Kwan Lin. Performs with several ensembles: OSSIA, Zzyzx Quartet, Project Fusion, and the Eastman Saxophone Project. Has impressed in a number of competitions as a soloist – including the Jean-Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition (2011) and the MTNA Young Artist Competition (2012) – and with ensembles, including the J.C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition (2012), the Coleman International Chamber Music Competition (2012), and the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition (2013). Taught at Roberts Wesleyan College and at the Harley School. Currently teaches the saxophone at the Eastman Community Music School.
