Graduate of Lahden Konservatorio (where he was taught by Hannu Lehtonen). Currently studying at the Sibelius Akatemia under Pekka Savijoki and Joonatan Rautiola). Impressed in the Erkki Melartin Chamber Music Competition (Savonlinna, 2010). Plays with a number of ensembles: the Ellipsos Quartet, Olli-Pekka Tuomisalo, the Guards Band, the Dragoon Band, the Navy Band of Finland, the Lahti Symphonic Wind Band, the Seinäjoki Symphonic Band, and the Helsinki Symphonic Winds.
