Graduate of Pontificia Universidad Javierana in Bogotá (where he was taught by César Villamil) and of the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. Has impressed in a number of competitions, including the Lunes de los Jóvenes Intérpretes (2005, 2008) and the Convocatoria de Estímulos (2011). Member of several ensembles, including the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia, LA Ensamble, and 4TETO. Teaches at the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia.
