Graduate of the University of Illinois (where he was taught by Debra Richtmeyer). Further studies at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Boulogne-Billancourt under Jean- Michel Goury. Currently studying at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester under Chien-Kwan Lin.

Has impressed in a number of competitions organised by the Music Teachers National Association and in the 3rd Jean- Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition (Bangkok, 2011), the International Saxophone Symposium and Competition (Columbus, 2012), the William C. Byrd Young Artist Competition (2013), and others. Has performed with several ensembles, including the Ogni Suono Saxophone Duo, the Cerulean Saxophone Quartet, the Quatuor FAFF, and the OSSIA New Music Ensemble, among others.
