Graduate of Indiana University – Jacobs School of Music (where he was taught by Otis Murphy) and of the University of Michigan (where he was taught by Donald Sinta). Impressed in a number of competitions organised by his universities and at the Heida Hermanns International Woodwind Competition (2007). Has performed regularly with several ensembles, including the United States Navy Band, the Imperial Palms Jazz Orchestra, the Palmettos Jazz Combo, the Foundry UMC Orchestra, In Series, the Inscape Chamber Orchestra, the McLean Orchestra, and the Jonathan Parker Group. Has released an album, Image (2013). Has taught at Towson University. Currently teaches in Washington DC Metro Area High Schools and gives private classes.
