Graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (where he was taught by Shuk Chi To). Further studies at Young Harris College under Michael Campbell. Currently studying at the University of Iowa under Kenneth Tse.

Won prizes at a number of school competitions and also impressed at the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition (2013). Member of several ensembles, including the Hong Kong Chamber Wind Philharmonia. Has performed at the International Band Festival (Singapore, 2010), the Asian Wind Orchestra Festival (Korea, 2010), the Hong Kong International Saxophone Symposium (2011), the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference (2012), and elsewhere.
