Began his musical studies at the Mikola Lysenko Secondary Special Music School in Kiev. Further studies at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music under Myhailo Mymryk. Has impressed in a number of competitions, including the International Saxophone Competition (Nova Gorica, 2011) and the 2nd International Saxophone Competition (Łódź, 2012).
